The City and Borough of Wrangell is seeking sealed bids to construct a cemetery expansion at Sunset Gardens. Work includes site clearing, excavation, imported fill, storm‑drain pipe and structures, erosion and sediment control, base‑course placement, topsoil seeding, and related site restoration and surveying. The Owner’s cost estimate is about $200,000 and the project is slated for substantial completion by late May 2027.
• Mobilization, clearing, grubbing, and excavation with imported fill (≈800 cu yd owner‑provided material).
• Installation of storm‑drain CPP pipe, catch basins, and a lined drainage ditch.
• Erosion‑and‑sediment control, topsoil placement, hydro‑seeding, and landscape restoration.
• Required compliance with Alaska Dept. of Labor payroll reporting, prevailing‑wage rules, and ADEC storm‑water permits.
