Rochester Program Description The State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry (SUNY-ESF) invites proposals from experienced organizations to implement a youth-focused summer learning program in Rochester, New York generally modeled after its successful Timbuctoo Climate Science and Careers Institute programs in Brooklyn and the Adirondacks (“The Timbuctoo Institute”). This RFP seeks a contractor capable of managing a multifaceted, interdisciplinary program in Rochester, New York for underserved youth who have experienced barriers to higher education, including academic, economic, and/or environmental disadvantage, that integrates climate science, environmental science, environmental and social justice, and career development (the “Rochester Program”).
