Sexton Path Trail and Walkway Project

The City of Columbia is seeking bids for the Sexton Road Trail and Walkway Project, which includes the construction of approximately 417 linear feet of concrete walkway, trail, and two concrete bench pads. The project aims to enhance pedestrian safety, improve accessibility for individuals with disabilities, and ensure compliance with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. The contractor will be responsible for all existing underground and overhead facilities, structures, and utilities, and must verify the location of all such facilities prior to the start of construction. The project must be completed within 45 calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed. • The project includes the construction of a concrete walkway, trail, and bench pads. • The contractor must comply with all federal, state, and local laws, rules, regulations, and ordinances. • The contractor must provide documentation evidencing registration of its business name and authorization to conduct business in the State of Missouri. • The contractor must secure all necessary licenses and building permits for all trades before beginning work. • The contractor must park, remove, and store all materials, tools, equipment, etc. in an area approved by the City.
