Notice of Intent to Sole Source - NoRedInk

The Richland School District Two intends to enter into a sole source contract with NoRedInk, Inc. for an online writing and grammar instruction program. The program will be used by teachers and students to diagnose skill gaps, deliver targeted practice, and support writing instruction across secondary grade levels. The platform offers adaptive diagnostic and personalized instruction, student engagement through interest-based content, seamless integration of grammar and writing instruction, standards alignment and instructional flexibility, and real-time data and actionable reporting. The contract amount is $100,000.00. Some key features of the program include: • Adaptive diagnostic assessment that adapts in real time to student responses • Individualized practice tailored to each student's needs • Student interest surveys to personalize practice questions • Integration of grammar instruction directly into the writing process • Real-time, skill-level data dashboards for teachers, administrators, and instructional leaders The district believes that NoRedInk is the only vendor that can meet the instructional, standards-alignment, personalization, and data-analysis requirements of their English Language Arts program.
