Storage Building

The Rudyard Area Schools is seeking bids for the construction of a 40' x 60' stick-frame storage building. The project must be executed in accordance with the attached state-approved building plans and Michigan Building Codes. The selected contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision for the site and concrete work, masonry, structural shell, and closeout. The bid package should include the total project cost, bonding capacity, timeline, and references. Key aspects of the project include: • A 100% Performance and Payment Bond is required • The contractor is responsible for securing all required permits and coordinating inspections • The building shall have a 6" reinforced concrete slab floor and exterior apron, cement block courses, and architectural shingles and metal siding • The project includes the installation of a 16' x 12' garage door, a 12' x 12' garage door, and a standard steel entry door • The contractor must ensure all final inspections are passed and permits are closed
