Description
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) seeks a contractor to provide preventative maintenance, urgent repair, and telephone support for AB Sciex mass spectrometers and liquid chromatographs located at its Gaithersburg, MD and Charleston, SC facilities. The effort includes two preventive‑maintenance visits per year per mass spectrometer, one per liquid chromatograph, on‑site repairs within 48 hours of a service call, provision of calibration solutions, and delivery of detailed service tickets and semi‑annual summary reports. The contract is an Excepted Contract with a base period of one year (Sep 29 2026 – Sep 28 2027) and up to four one‑year option extensions. All work must be performed during normal federal business hours, comply with NIST security and safety requirements, and meet manufacturer specifications.
• Preventive‑maintenance visits: 2 × year for each mass spectrometer, 1 × year for each LC.
• Urgent on‑site repair: response within 48 hrs, parts secured within 72 hrs.
• Telephone support during business hours.
• Provide calibration solution kits and detailed service tickets.
• Deliver semi‑annual summary reports and adhere to Section 508 accessibility.
• Work performed at NIST Gaithersburg campus and Hollings Marine Laboratory, Charleston, SC.
• Contractor personnel must have ≥2 years AB Sciex experience and obtain site access badges.
