Request for Information - F-15 Low Profile Heads Up Display (LPHUD) Depot Activation Capabilities

The Air Force Lifecycle Management Center, F-15 Directorate (AFLCMC/WAQ) is seeking information from industry to support the development of a Long-Term Support Strategy for the F-15EX program. The strategy aims to improve supply chain efficiencies, material availability, and supplier base for multiple Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) and their subcomponents. The F-15EX program is a multi-role weapon system that leverages over $5B of foreign military sales investment and capability enhancements. The program requires Depot Activation capabilities, which include the repair and maintenance of the Low Profile Heads Up Display (LPHUD). The LPHUD is a critical component of the F-15EX, and the contractor shall provide training to USAF Maintenance Technicians on the test and repair of all units under test. • The F-15EX program is a multi-role weapon system that leverages over $5B of foreign military sales investment and capability enhancements. • The program requires Depot Activation capabilities, which include the repair and maintenance of the Low Profile Heads Up Display (LPHUD). • The LPHUD is a critical component of the F-15EX, and the contractor shall provide training to USAF Maintenance Technicians on the test and repair of all units under test. • The contractor shall identify all necessary requirements, maximizing the utilization of existing F-15 legacy capabilities (equipment, testers) and documenting any discrepancies in required testing and repair processes unique to the respective Air Logistics Complex (ALC).
