Description
Parkland Health (Dallas County Hospital District) seeks a qualified prime contractor to provide Level III armed security services across 33 Dallas‑area health‑care locations. The work includes 24 × 7 armed guard coverage, overtime staffing, supervisory lead officers, a dedicated patrol vehicle, uniform and equipment provision, and integration with the district’s Evolv weapons‑detection system. The contract is a three‑year base period with two optional one‑year extensions, and a minimum 25 % MWBE participation goal.
• Provide licensed Level III armed security officers for all listed shifts (including 24‑hour coverage at the main hospital).
• Supply one patrol vehicle equipped with GPS, lighting, communication gear, and maintain it 24 × 7.
• Outfit every officer with uniforms, firearms, radios, body armor, and related equipment; cost must be included in the hourly rate.
• Deliver required training (initial 80‑hour OJT, de‑escalation, Stop‑the‑Bleed, etc.) and coordinate with Parkland’s police communication center.
• Submit a comprehensive pricing schedule (Exhibit D) and meet the MWBE good‑faith effort documentation.
