Description
The Municipality of Anchorage’s Parks & Recreation Department is seeking a qualified contractor to provide “as‑required” fencing services throughout the Anchorage corporate limits. The contract is a one‑year, no‑guarantee‑of‑work agreement (up to three one‑year extensions) with a maximum annual spend of $500,000. Bidders must submit sealed paper bids by the deadline; electronic bids are not accepted. The work includes new chain‑link fence installation, repairs, gate fabrication, decorative slats, vinyl‑coated fence, and related accessories, with mobilization charges applicable only for work outside the central Anchorage Bowl.
• Scope covers new fence construction, repairs, and associated hardware (gates, handrails, decorative elements).
• Geographic coverage: entire Municipality of Anchorage (north, south, and core Bowl areas).
• Contract value capped at $500K annually; no minimum order amount (except $250 per work order).
• Required certifications: Alaska State Business License, Alaska Contractor License, Municipality of Anchorage Contractor License, SAM registration, and specified insurance limits.
