Description
The City of Detroit is seeking pre‑qualified demolition contractors to perform hazardous‑material abatement and complete demolition of residential properties grouped under “Group 9.3.26” at 21634 Lyndon. Vendors must submit detailed price sheets, professional rate schedules, and a signed signature page via the Oracle Supplier Portal by September 9, 2026. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bid, with the successful vendor required to finish all work within 120 calendar days of receiving a Notice to Proceed and to provide performance and payment bonds covering 100 % of the contract value.
• Scope includes asbestos and other hazardous material removal, demolition, debris removal, backfill, grading, and seeding.
• All permits are the City’s responsibility; contractors must not include permit costs.
• Required documents: Price Sheet (Excel), Professional Rate Schedule (Excel), Signature Page (PDF).
• Vendors must be pre‑qualified by the City’s Demolition Program and must submit a single quote per property group.
• Evaluation based on lowest responsive bid with local preference considerations; equalization factor may apply.
• Bonds and insurance must be provided within five business days of award; work cannot commence until a Notice to Proceed is issued.
