Description
The City of Fall River is seeking bids for the Third Street Parking Garage Improvements Project. The project involves repairs to inverted T-beams, concrete wall repairs, floor repairs, and electrical reconfiguration caused by repairs to structural elements at the existing 3rd Street parking garage. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis. The project is subject to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 149, Section 44A - 44J inclusive, as amended.
• The bid deposit shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
• Performance and Payment Bonds, in the full amount of the Contract price, will be required of the Successful Bidder.
• No Bid may be withdrawn within 30 days after the date of the opening of Bids.
• The Successful Bidder shall comply with the Minority and Women (MBE/WBE) Workforce Participation goal of 13.0% for this contract.
• Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of Department of Workforce Development under the provision of the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Section 26 to 27D, as amended, and Davis Bacon Federal Wage Rates apply to this project.
