Description
The City of Norwalk is seeking a qualified consultant to provide professional design services for the Local Streets Rehabilitation Zone 13 project. The selected consultant will be responsible for providing design, project management, geotechnical, and construction support services. The project includes the rehabilitation of various City streets, including alley rehabilitation, which may be included at the City's discretion. The consultant will be required to perform tasks such as project management and coordination, data collection and field investigation, pavement evaluation and design, and plans, specifications, and estimates preparation.
• The project area includes Zone 13, primarily consisting of residential local streets.
• The consultant will be required to assign a responsible project manager and prepare a detailed project schedule.
• The consultant will be required to conduct a kickoff meeting and monthly coordination meetings with City staff.
• The consultant will be required to prepare agendas, meeting minutes, and action item logs.
• The consultant will be required to coordinate with all affected agencies and utilities.
• The consultant will be required to submit monthly progress reports and invoices in the City's standard format.
