V-22 Spares (Outfitting Requirements)

The United States Navy is seeking eligible contractors to provide V-22 Osprey platform spares to support new outfitting requirements and changes to current outfitting levels. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Bell Boeing Joint Program Office, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1). The acquisition is for the National Item Identification Numbers (NIINs) identified in the announcement. • The Government does not possess the data necessary to perform the requirements under this contract. • The identified source is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for the 6 identified NIINs. • All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to this notice. • Source Approval is required, and the time required for approval of a new source is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source.
