Elk Rapids High School Carpet Bid

The Elk Rapids Schools are seeking bids for the removal and disposal of existing carpeting and the installation of new carpeting at Elk Rapids High School. The project includes furnishing all necessary labor, tools, adhesives, and edging to install a complete carpet installation. The carpet specification is for Mohawk Commercial Carpets, style "Expedition Digital Terrain GT341", color "955 Coastal". The contractor shall include tear up and removal of the existing base, carpet, misc. thresholds, transition strips, etc., and adhesive removal necessary to install new carpeting according to manufacturer's specifications. • The project requires the contractor to provide a list of two references for similar school projects. • The contractor must submit a bid bond in the amount of 5% of their bid. • The project has a completion date of 8/12/26. • The contractor shall guarantee all workmanship and materials furnished against defects for a period of one year from the date of final payment. • The manufacturer shall guarantee the carpeting in writing, against wear, for a period of fifteen years.
