Prop 411- Tucson Heights & Highland Park Addition Mill & Fill

The City of Tucson is seeking bids for a mill and fill project to resurface streets and construct curb access ramps in the Tucson Heights and Highland Park Addition neighborhoods. The project includes approximately 282,403 square yards of mill and fill, 319 curb access ramps, 32 speed humps, and 1 speed table. The project is funded by Prop 411 and has a price range of $5,000,000 to $10,000,000. • The project requires a 2" layer of PAG Mix #2 (LV) with PG 76-22TR+ binder. • The project has a liquidated damages clause of $2710.00 per calendar day of delay. • The successful bidder must furnish a performance surety in the amount of 100% of the awarded contract amount. • The project requires compliance with Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, including those related to safety standards and environmental protection. • The City of Tucson reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
