C1NZ--Campus Chilled Water Loop Repairs AE Project 659-26-300

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking an Architect-Engineering (A-E) firm to provide design services for the Campus Chilled Water Loop Repairs project at the W.G. (Bill) Hefner Salisbury Veterans Administration Medical Center in Salisbury, North Carolina. The project involves repairing and replacing the existing chilled water line between Building 8 and Building 4 to provide a more efficient chill water system. The A-E firm will be responsible for providing Schematics, Design Development, Construction Documents, Technical Specifications, Construction Period Services, Site Visits, Cost Estimates, As-Built Documentation, and all other related information. The firm must have experience in designing similar improvements to those proposed at a VISN6 VAMC and must demonstrate competence and qualifications for the required work. • The project requires the A-E firm to have recent direct experience on Hospital projects designing similar improvements to those proposed at a VISN6 VAMC. • The firm must provide a team where each member has more than 5 years of experience. • The A-E firm must demonstrate understanding of the project and any unique architectural/engineering aspects associated with the proposed project. • The firm must have past performance with satisfactory ratings and above while working on hospital projects. • The A-E firm must have a reputation and standing of the firm and its principal officials with respect to professional performance, general management, and cooperativeness.
