Contactors for Silverliner IV Cars

This solicitation seeks a qualified contractor to supply and install a Motor Pilot component for the controller assembly of SEPTA’s Silverliner IV commuter rail cars. The work involves engineering, fabrication, testing, and integration of the motor pilot into existing vehicle propulsion systems, ensuring compliance with federal nondiscrimination and DOT regulations. The contract will be funded partially with U.S. DOT assistance and will be awarded to a single vendor through a sealed‑bid process. • Provide the Motor Pilot unit and all required hardware for the controller assembly on Silverliner IV cars. • Perform installation, functional testing, and verification in accordance with SEPTA’s specifications. • Deliver documentation, certification of compliance, and training for SEPTA maintenance staff. • Meet all Title VI, DOT Part 21, and Executive Order 12549 compliance requirements.
