Storage of Silverliner IV & V Transformers

SEPTA is seeking a qualified contractor to provide secure, long‑term storage for its Silverliner IV and Silverliner V electric‑train transformers over a two‑year period. The contractor must supply a facility that meets SEPTA’s security, climate‑control, and inventory‑tracking requirements, and must comply with all federal and state nondiscrimination and DBE policies. Bids are to be submitted electronically via SEPTA’s ePS system, with a pre‑bid meeting offered for clarification but not required. The contract will remain firm for 90 days after opening, and the award will be made at SEPTA’s discretion. • Provide secure, climate‑controlled warehousing for large rail‑transformer units for 24 months. • Maintain accurate inventory records and allow SEPTA access for inspections. • Meet all applicable DOT, Title VI, EO 12549, and DBE compliance requirements.
