Description
The State of New York is seeking qualified contractors to renovate the historic Saranac Lake Train Depot. The scope includes full building demolition and selective removal, structural repairs, interior partitions, finishes, and comprehensive upgrades to mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and fire‑alarm systems. The project also requires site‑work such as temporary fencing, erosion‑and‑sediment control, utility relocation, and compliance with the 2025 New York State Building and Energy Codes. Vendors must hold a Digital ID, be registered with a Bid Express‑approved bonding service, and meet MWBE participation goals.
• Four trade packages (Construction, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical) to be bid separately but coordinated.
• Project budget estimated between $100 K and $250 K.
