Center School Partial Roof Replacement

The Town of Chelmsford, Massachusetts, is seeking bids for the Center School Partial Roof Replacement project. The project involves replacing two asphalt shingle roof areas totaling approximately 8,200 square feet. The scope of work includes removal of existing asphalt shingles and ice & water shield, installation of new ice and water shield and new asphalt shingles, removal of existing gutters and downspouts, and replacement with new. The project also includes new flashings and masonry chimney repointing. Bidders must be DCAMM Certified Prime in the Category of Roofing and must include an updated DCAMM Prime Update Statement with the bid. • The project is subject to prevailing wages as determined by the Massachusetts Department of Labor Standards. • A bid deposit equal to 5% of the total bid amount is required. • The successful bidder will be required to furnish 100% Payment and Performance Bonds. • The Town reserves the right to waive informalities in the bidding process, reject any or all bids, and award the contract deemed to be in the best interest of the Town.
