Description
The Franklin Township Board of Education is seeking quotes for group medical and prescription drug benefits for its employees. The benefits must be duplicated exactly as described in the attached benefit outlines, and any deviations must be clearly defined. The proposal should include current plan benefits, claims experience, rate history, and a questionnaire. The selected vendor will be responsible for providing administrative services, claims administration, and customer service. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option to renew for up to three years.
• The vendor must provide a "no loss/no gain" provision, exclude any pre-existing condition limitations, and waive any actively-at-work requirements for employees, retirees, dependents, and COBRA participants.
• The vendor must provide detailed weekly and monthly claim detail reports, including a summary of paid claims by line of coverage and the number of employees and dependent units enrolled in each program.
• The vendor must have a reasonable and customary profile based on the same profile used by the current carrier for all coverages.
• The vendor must be able to administer a Health Care Reimbursement Account and provide specimen contracts and financial agreements.
• The vendor must have a formal disease management program and be able to report prescription drug costs separately from medical costs.
