Mulholland Highway Phase 1 & Escondido Canyon Pipeline Project: Request For Proposals

The Las Virgenes Municipal Water District is seeking proposals for engineering design, bidding, and construction services for the Mulholland Highway Phase 1 & Escondido Canyon Pipeline Projects. The scope of work includes surveying, easement acquisition, permitting support, design and engineering services, bid phase services, and construction support services. The project consists of two parts: the Mulholland Highway Phase 1 Project, which involves the construction of approximately 0.4 miles of 10" diameter water main, and the Escondido Canyon Project, which involves the construction of approximately 1.5 miles of 10" diameter water main. The selected proposer will be required to conduct a site survey, develop a site plan, and provide plans and specifications for construction. • The project requires the proposer to have design and construction engineering experience related to the proposed project, with a value of at least $200,000. • The proposer must have professional liability insurance in the amount of $1 million. • The project manager must have sufficient experience in the assessment, design, and construction of similar projects, with a minimum of 5 years experience. • The project manager must be a registered Professional Engineer in the State of California with established experience related to the proposed project.
