Marquette Road Multi-Use Path Construction

The City of Brandon is seeking bids for the construction of a multi-use path on Marquette Road. The project includes the installation of approximately 1,950 linear feet of 4-inch concrete multi-use path, concrete driveways, storm drain, striping, and all other associated work required to complete the project. Bidders must be qualified under Mississippi State Law and show a Certificate of Responsibility issued by the Mississippi State Board of Public Contractors. The contract time is 60 consecutive calendar days, with liquidated damages of $500 per calendar day thereafter. • The project requires the installation of a multi-use path, concrete driveways, and storm drain. • The contract documents and drawings can be examined at the City of Brandon and Benchmark Engineering & Surveying, LLC. • Copies of the bidding documents can be obtained upon payment of $150 per set. • Bid security in the amount of 5% of the bid must accompany each bid. • Minority and Woman Owned Business Enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors.
