Description
The City of Cartersville is seeking qualified firms to provide Right-of-Way (ROW) Acquisition Services for the Douthit Ferry Road Widening Project. The project is funded in part through the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) and requires compliance with applicable federal and state requirements. The Community will utilize a Qualifications-Based Selection (QBS) process to select the successful firm.
Key aspects of the project include:
• Providing ROW acquisition services, including coordination, title research, appraisal coordination, negotiations, easement preparation, relocation assistance, and compliance documentation
• Meeting the requirements of the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act and GDOT Right-of-Way Manual procedures
• Utilizing a QBS process for selection
• Complying with the Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act
• Meeting the requirements of the Georgia Department of Transportation's Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program
