Description
The Supervisor of Shipbuilding Overhaul & Repair, Groton, CT (SSGR) intends to award a sole source contract to ESL Power System, Inc. for the manufacture of one Manual Bus Transfer (MBT) Unit. The MBT will provide reliable shore and emergency backup power for Reactor Plant safety. The period of performance is from 06 Feb 2026 to 06 Nov 2026.
• The contract is for a firm fixed price.
• The MBT is essential to the requirement and market research indicates similar products do not meet or cannot be modified to meet agency needs.
• Other responsible sources may submit a capability statement before 6:00AM EST 05JAN26, which may be considered by the Agency for a future award.
