The State Highway Administration is soliciting bids for a contractor to provide removal, maintenance, and repair services for fences at the Upper Marlboro Shop Maintenance Facility in Prince George's County, Maryland. The contract will be for a period of 24 months, and the contractor will be required to provide all labor, supervision, miscellaneous parts, equipment, tools, transportation, and methods of communication for the work performed. The contractor must meet all Federal EPA, OSHA, and MDE guidelines in the performance of work and proper handling and disposal of waste and/or contaminated materials. Some key responsibilities include: • Providing 'not to exceed' estimates on all emergency and non-emergency repair work • Maintaining the project by showing up at the stated time and working consecutive full work hour days until the work is complete • Cooperating in the orderly transition of services from it to a subsequent contractor at the end of the contract term or upon receipt of a Notice of Termination from the State • Submitting invoices in accordance with the schedule provided in the contract • Maintaining insurance coverage, including commercial general liability and worker's compensation, for the duration of the contract
