26-053 Decommissioning and Demolition (D&D) Contractor for the South Former Baptist Hospital Campus (CDBG-DR Area)

The City of Pensacola is seeking a qualified contractor to fully de‑commission and demolish the southern portion of the former Baptist Hospital campus. The work includes removal of unsafe and obsolete structures, remediation of regulated hazardous building materials, site clean‑up, and preparation of the land for future resilient redevelopment. This effort is funded in part by HUD’s CDBG‑DR program and must satisfy all federal, state, and local procurement, labor, civil‑rights, and contractor outreach requirements. • Demolition of multiple existing hospital buildings and associated structures. • Hazardous material abatement (asbestos, lead‑based paint, etc.) and environmental remediation. • Site clearing, debris removal, and preparation for future development. • Compliance with CDBG‑DR funding rules, including Section 3 outreach and reporting. • Submission of a sealed bid by the deadline; the contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
