39th Street Lift Station & Forcemain Decommission Project

The City of St. Michael is seeking qualified contractors to decommission an existing lift station and associated force main, remove existing pavement, perform site excavation, place aggregate base, install new HDPE and PVC sewer pipes, and complete related civil works. The scope includes demolition, excavation, pipe installation, pavement removal, backfill, and site restoration, with all work to be performed in‑place under the city’s specifications. • Demolition of an existing lift station and removal of a 210 LF force main. • Excavation of approximately 800 CY, placement of 900 TON aggregate base, and installation of 220 LF of 8‑in HDPE pipe plus 980 LF of 8‑in PVC pipe. • Removal of 3,200 SF bituminous pavement and construction of new pavement. • All work must comply with Minnesota Statute 16C.285 Responsible Contractor requirements.
