Description
The Texas Military Department seeks a qualified contractor to conduct comprehensive bird surveys at four training‑center sites across Texas. The contractor will perform both spring and winter counts using pre‑established transects, record species presence (especially any endangered or threatened species), and deliver results in Excel or Access format along with quarterly progress reports. Deliverables include GIS data with FGDC‑compliant metadata, final reports, and any required documentation. The work requires at least five years of avian survey experience in Texas, provision of staff résumés, coordination with site personnel, and adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
