Description
The Texas Department of Criminal Justice is seeking bids for the procurement of mesh bag fabric. The fabric should be 100% polyester, 50 inches wide, natural color, and 150/1000 yarn denier. The contract will be for a purchase order, and the vendor will be required to provide samples prior to award for evaluation purposes. The delivery location will be the TDCJ Huntsville Industrial Warehouse. The vendor must comply with TDCJ security procedures, including having a security escort when making deliveries to correctional facilities.
• The bid submission requirements include submitting one original signed paper copy or electronic submission via email.
• The bid must include the name, phone number, and email of a point of contact for the submitted bid response.
• The vendor must certify that they are eligible to participate in this transaction and have not been suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible.
• The vendor must agree to comply with all terms and conditions, including providing samples within 7 calendar days of receipt of the request.
• The vendor must adhere to the provisions found in Personnel Directive PD-29, "Sexual Misconduct with Inmates."
• The vendor must notify each of their staff accessing TDCJ's premises of the provisions within this directive prior to any delivery.
