The Municipality of Anchorage seeks a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive garment‑rental and entry‑way‑mat‑rental services on a weekly basis. The contractor will deliver, fit, launder, repair, replace, and manage inventory of industrial work shirts, pants, coveralls, jackets, lab coats and related accessories, as well as a variety of rubber/nylon entry‑way mats for municipal facilities. Service includes weekly pick‑up and delivery, quarterly inventory reports, and compliance with background‑check and safety‑course requirements for delivery personnel.
• Uniform rentals cover 1‑17 garment types (shirts, pants, coveralls, jackets, lab coats, towels, bags, etc.) with oversize‑garment fees where applicable.
• Entry‑way mats cover 7 sizes/color options, with the first three items billed weekly and the remaining four billed bi‑weekly.
• Contract term is two years with up‑to‑three one‑year extensions; the vendor must handle on‑site fitting, background checks, and provide a 30‑day notice for any schedule changes.
