Uniform Supply, Rental, Maintenance and Laundering Services

The San Diego County Regional Airport Authority is seeking a single vendor (or prime with approved subcontractors) to provide a full‑service uniform program for its Facilities Management staff at San Diego International Airport. The contractor will supply new uniform inventory, rent items on a weekly basis, conduct on‑site measurement, manage 24‑hour request/defect hotlines, perform laundering, repair, and replacement services, and handle final pick‑up of all uniforms at contract close. The contract is a three‑year term with two optional one‑year extensions and includes detailed specifications for flame‑resistant garments, no‑wrinkle finishing (except tunnel‑pressed coveralls), and a “Garment Protection Plan.” • Provide initial inventory (13 shirts, 13 pants, 2 coveralls per employee) and weekly rental sets (up to six complete sets per employee). • Conduct on‑site measurements within 7 business days of request and maintain a 24‑hour support line for uniform issues. • Perform professional laundering, repair, and replacement services; replace lost/damaged items within five business days per contract specifications. • Comply with insurance, indemnification, prevailing‑wage (not required), and DBE/DBE‑neutral policies; optional small‑business, veteran‑owned, and local preferences may be claimed.
