Full-Service Laundry and Rental Program

The City of Phoenix is seeking a qualified contractor to operate a full‑service laundry and rental program for its Water Services Department. The contract will commence on or after December 1 2026 and run for a fixed term of five (5) years with no renewal options. The contractor must provide end‑to‑end uniform and textile services—including laundering, decontamination, repair, inventory tracking, pick‑up and delivery—across multiple city facilities, while complying with all federal, state, and local regulations (including handling of biologically contaminated items and flame‑resistant garments). Key responsibilities include: • Managing inventory, labeling, and RFID or similar tracking for uniforms, rental items, and event linens. • Providing on‑site or contracted decontamination of biologically hazardous garments. • Offering a secure, web‑based portal for order placement, status reporting, and data analytics. • Supplying replacement garments for loss, theft, or damage at no cost to the City. • Maintaining insurance, safety, and compliance documentation throughout the contract term. • Delivering a transition plan to assume services from the incumbent contractor.
