Description
The City of Austin is seeking a contractor to provide rental, delivery, installation, cleaning, maintenance, and removal services for chemical portable toilets and portable shower units, including waste‑water holding tanks. The contract covers annual, monthly, weekly, or daily rentals for regular city events, emergency response, disaster relief, and continuity‑of‑operations activities. Service must include 24/7 emergency response, ADA‑compliant units, regular weekly servicing, waste disposal, provision of consumables (toilet paper, soap, sanitizer), and rapid mobilization for relocations or emergencies. The contractor must also supply generators, water storage, and handle medical waste according to OSHA and TCEQ regulations. The contract is open‑ended with optional extensions and requires quarterly activity reporting.
• Provide portable toilet units (chemical) and portable shower units on a rental basis (daily to annual).
• Deliver, install, service, clean, and remove units; include waste‑water tank servicing and chemical replenishment.
• Offer 24/7 emergency response with defined response‑time tiers (2‑12 hours).
• Ensure ADA compliance, include hand‑washing stations, lighting, ventilation, and climate control for showers.
• Manage waste disposal, including hazardous medical waste, per OSHA/TCEQ guidelines.
• Submit weekly service logs, bi‑weekly reports, and quarterly activity summaries.
• Contract may be extended; hold‑over period up to 180 days allowed.
