Description
The Telfair County Board of Commissioners is seeking a certified public accountant (CPA) to provide financial services, including preparation of monthly financial reports, bank reconciliations, and fiscal year-end accounting adjustments. The CPA will also provide annual consulting services, payroll services, and draft the county's basic financial statements. The contract will be for a fixed price and will cover fiscal years 2027, 2028, and 2029.
• The CPA must be experienced in providing financial services to government entities.
• The CPA must be able to provide unlimited meetings and phone support to discuss operations, business matters, and tax matters.
• The CPA must be able to provide annual consulting services, including preparation of annual budgets and millage process documentation.
• The CPA must be able to provide payroll services, including processing of payroll checks and calculation of payroll taxes.
• The CPA must be able to draft the county's basic financial statements and all related notes.
