The pins must be die‑struck, enamel‑filled (Pantone 185 red, Pantone 286 blue, white), 22‑k gold‑plated, and feature a magnetic backing with anti‑rotational spurs. Each pin is to be individually poly‑bagged, packed in cartons of 100 (max 30 lb), and shipped to 35 NASA locations across the United States, including 250 “Blue‑Label” random copies. A one‑year warranty and full Buy‑American documentation are required. Delivery must be completed by 19 June 2026. • 88,400 magnetic lapel pins with 22 k gold plating, enamel colors, and magnetic backing. • Packaging: individual polybags, cartons of 100, GPO Form 905 labeling on each container. • Delivery to 35 NASA sites; daily shipping notices with tracking required. • Pre‑production samples and electronic proof approval prior to full production. • One‑year warranty, Level 3 QA, Buy‑American origin declaration, and required GPO forms (892c, 2678, 917, 905).

Budget estimate

$180,000 – $440,000

No contract value is disclosed. Typical premium enamel lapel pins with 22 k gold plating cost roughly $2‑5 each, plus packaging, shipping, and warranty overhead. Using the lower end ($2) yields about $176,800; the higher end ($5) yields about $442,000. Allowing for economies of scale, logistics, and administrative fees, a realistic award range is roughly $180 k to $440 k.
