Welding & Rigging Installation & Repair

The Wake County Public School System is seeking to secure a contract to provide Welding & Rigging Installation and Repair at various WCPSS facilities. The contractor must be able to handle multiple calls, respond on a 24-hour, 7-day basis, and will be expected to respond to emergency requests within 2 hours. The scope of work includes lifting and placing equipment, welding stainless steel, HVAC systems, pressure vessels, and other general piping repairs. • The contract service shall be for a period of one year and shall begin July 1, 2026, through July 31, 2027. • The contractor must carry appropriate licenses and/or certifications. • The estimated number of labor hours for installation and repair is 100 hours. • The contractor’s net profit on subcontractors’ rates shall be no greater than cost plus 5%. • The contractor’s net profit on materials overhead and profit shall be cost plus 10% charged to materials required to complete assigned projects.
