Description
The USNS CODY UHF Repeater Programming project involves upgrading and configuring Motorola GTR-8000 Repeaters, APX-4500 mobile base stations, and APX 4000 handheld radios. The contractor will be responsible for programming, configuring, and testing the equipment, as well as providing training to shipboard personnel. The work will be performed at JEB-Little Creek, Virginia Beach, VA, and the required delivery and acceptance date is 27 February 2026.
* Key responsibilities include:
* Upgrading and configuring Motorola GTR-8000 Repeaters, APX-4500 mobile base stations, and APX 4000 handheld radios
* Programming and configuring the equipment for P25 conventional mode of operation
* Performing communication tests and system checks
* Providing training to shipboard personnel
* Ensuring compliance with the Service Contract Act and relevant regulations
