Description
The California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services is seeking a contractor to provide seismic bracing provisions for mobile homes. The contractor will be responsible for developing recommendations that are technically defensible, implementable, and cost-effective. The final product will be a print/web-ready PDF document that meets the requirements of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA conformance requirements. The contractor must have at least six years of experience in applying knowledge of applicable regulations and building codes related to seismic bracing requirements for mobile homes.
• The contractor must have experience in lab/field testing and analysis of bracing assembly, soil, and soil anchor.
• The contractor must have experience in pre-standard, standard, or code development.
• The contractor must provide a staffing plan, resumes of key personnel, and a narrative proposal that demonstrates their understanding of the project requirements and their ability to deliver the project.
• The contractor must also provide a cost proposal that includes all travel, hours, and work effort required to deliver the services.
• The evaluation criteria for this RFP include technical evaluation, cost evaluation, and socioeconomic and environmental program incentives.
