Budget estimate

$5,000 – $15,000

A typical residential septic‑system replacement in Virginia ranges from $5,000 to $15,000 depending on site conditions, pump size, and trench length. The lower end reflects a straightforward swap with minimal excavation; the higher end accounts for extensive trench work, higher‑capacity pump, and potential permitting costs.
