The Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services (DDS) is seeking qualified providers to deliver a comprehensive Assistive Technology (AT) program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The program includes AT needs assessments, procurement of adaptive equipment (capped at $3,000 per individual per year), training, ongoing support, maintenance, and documentation. Funding is provided via cost‑reimbursement for equipment and a unit‑rate for evaluation and support services, with an estimated total contract value of $2 million per year over a five‑year period. Providers must demonstrate expertise in AT evaluation, have qualified staff (OT/PT/SLP/ATP/RET), comply with state privacy, HIPAA, and abuse‑registry requirements, and submit a Supplier Diversity Plan. • Conduct up to 12 hours per year of AT evaluation per client and up to 15 hours per year of support/training (unless waived). • Procure adaptive equipment within a $3,000 annual cap per client, applying a 12 % administrative markup. • Provide detailed evaluation reports, support plans, maintenance services, and outcome monitoring. • Meet scoring thresholds (minimum 2 points on each of five narrative questions and at least 10/15 overall) and achieve a minimum 1 % spend with SDP‑certified diverse partners.
