CUNY Queens College Parking Ramp Reconstruction

The CUNY Queens College Parking Ramp Reconstruction project involves the structural repair of a concrete parking deck, removal and replacement of storm lines and domestic water feeds, electrical wiring and lighting, and replacement of the lower-level parking garage surface. The estimated construction cost is between $18 million and $19 million. The project requires firms to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) package, which includes company profile, experience, project schedules, safety program, resumes, and other information. The EOI package will be reviewed and evaluated by a DASNY committee, and firms deemed qualified will be included on a short list and invited to submit a bid. • The project requires a minimum of five years of experience with projects similar in size, scope, and complexity. • The EOI package must include documentation of the firm's Experience Modification Rating (EMR) and a signed letter from a Surety Company attesting to the firm's single and aggregate bonding capacity. • The project is subject to New York State business registration requirements and requires compliance with New York State laws and regulations. • The construction contract will be held by DASNY.
