Description
The State of Maine is seeking a vendor to provide calibration and service of portable nuclear density gauges and radiation survey meters, as well as dosimetry and leak test services. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option to renew. The vendor will be required to provide routine services, including calibration, cleaning, and inspection of equipment, as well as as-needed repair services. The vendor must have experience in providing similar services and must meet all applicable regulatory requirements.
• The contract will be awarded to the lowest-priced qualified bidder.
• The vendor must provide a unit price for each piece of equipment described in the routine services table.
• The vendor must provide an hourly rate for as-needed repair services.
• The vendor must retain copies of licenses and certifications verifying that they are qualified to perform the work.
• The vendor must provide formal and complete documentation of all work performed.
• The vendor must apply a decal to all calibrated equipment with the date of calibration, identification of person/company performing calibration, and identification of instrument/equipment.
