Invitation for Bid – Annual Calibration of Instruments and Equipment for Mississippi Forensic Laboratory

The Mississippi Department of Public Safety is seeking qualified vendors to provide annual calibration and certification services for a comprehensive inventory of laboratory instruments and equipment used across all branches of the state forensic laboratory network. The scope includes on‑site calibration, performance verification, and documentation for balances, autoclaves, centrifuges, fume hoods, pipettes, thermometers, and numerous other specialized devices listed in the attached equipment list. Vendors must acknowledge the amendment that adds a detailed make‑model list, submit calibrated reports by the contract deadline, and comply with all DPS procurement terms. • Annual, statewide service covering multiple forensic disciplines (Biosciences, Toxicology, Seized Drugs, etc.) • Over 300 individual pieces of equipment to be calibrated each year • On‑site service required at several DPS laboratory locations (Pearl, Batesville, Gulf Coast, Meridian, etc.) • Deliverables include calibration certificates, traceability records, and any required maintenance recommendations • Contract likely to be a one‑year term with the possibility of renewal for subsequent years
