Description
The U.S. Navy seeks qualified vendors to provide inspection, preventive‑maintenance, calibration, and corrective‑repair services for a Thermo Fisher Scientific/FEI Quanta 650 electron microscope at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, Maine.
• Perform annual comprehensive inspection and preventive‑maintenance per OEM manuals and industry standards (ASME B30, ANSI/AGMA, OSHA).
• Conduct full calibration and verification of microscope performance, delivering a certification report (CDRL A002).
• Provide unscheduled corrective‑repair reporting (Condition Found Report, CDRL A003) and obtain contracting‑officer approval before execution.
• Submit required CDRL reports (Test/Inspection, Calibration Certificate, Condition Found) within 2‑3 business days of task completion.
• Ensure all on‑site personnel are U.S. citizens, meet security badge requirements, and use only new OEM‑approved parts.
