Jefferson Parish is seeking SAMHSA‑certified and/or CAP‑FUDT‑certified laboratories to collect and test forensic drug and alcohol specimens from its employees and prospective employees. The work includes on‑site and off‑site testing, reporting results, and providing expert witness testimony when required. Vendors must have experience with large employee populations (2,000+), be able to locate their principal office within Jefferson Parish, and submit a full Statement of Qualifications via the parish’s e‑procurement portal by the deadline. The contract may be awarded to one or more qualified labs and will cover ongoing testing services, including fee schedules for testing and expert testimony. • Required certifications: SAMHSA and/or CAP‑FUDT • Minimum experience: servicing 2,000+ employees • Services: specimen collection, drug/alcohol analysis, result certification, expert testimony • Submission: electronic via www.jeffparish.gov/supplier by 3:30 PM, 10 Nov 2026 • Evaluation criteria weighted equally across experience, staffing, project understanding, and cost • Preference for labs with a physical office on the East or West Bank of Jefferson Parish
