Description
Midwestern State University is seeking a qualified contractor to replace the surface of Parking Lots #3 and #6N on its campus, install new lighting poles, and optionally construct a pedestrian walkway (“Mustangs Walk”) and provide temporary safety fencing. The work must begin May 14, 2018 and be substantially completed by August 10, 2018, with liquidated damages for any delay. Bidders must submit a sealed bid or electronic submission by March 23, 2018, and provide required bonding, insurance, HUB subcontracting plans, and non‑asbestos certifications.
• Replace existing pavement on Lots #3 and #6N (base scope)
• Supply and install seven new lighting poles; reuse existing fixtures plus ten owner‑provided fixtures
• Optional alternates: Mustangs Walk pedestrian pathway and 6‑ft chain‑link temporary fencing around the site
• Must meet strict schedule (May 14 – Aug 10 2018) and Texas state construction bonding/insurance requirements
