Notice of Intent to Sole Source Advanced Blast Simulator Transition Tube

The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USU) intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract to Stumptown Research & Development, LLC for the design, fabrication, and installation of a transition section for the agency’s Advanced Blast Simulator. The Advanced Blast Simulator is proprietary to Stumptown, and they are the only vendor with the expertise to service and repair it. The contract will be awarded in accordance with the procedures of FAR Parts 12 and 13. • The contract is for the design, fabrication, and installation of a transition section for the Advanced Blast Simulator. • The Advanced Blast Simulator is proprietary to Stumptown Research & Development, LLC. • Stumptown is the only vendor with the expertise to service and repair the ABS. • The contract will be awarded in accordance with the procedures of FAR Parts 12 and 13.
