Description
The City of Philadelphia is seeking bids for the sewer reconstruction and relay of water mains in West Lycoming Street and Nice Street. The project includes the lining of brick sewers, rehabilitation of sewer manholes, and the installation of new water mains and services. Bidders must submit their bids electronically through the City's online bidding system. A pre-bid conference will not be held, but bidders may submit questions via email. The bid opening will be held on May 14, 2026, at 10:30 AM EST.
• The project requires the lining of approximately 505 linear feet of 2'-6" x 1'-8" brick sewer in Nice Street.
• The project requires the rehabilitation of multiple sewer manholes.
• The project requires the installation of new water mains and services, including 4-inch, 6-inch, 8-inch, and 12-inch diameter pipes.
• The project requires the installation of new sewer pipes, including 18-inch, 21-inch, 24-inch, 27-inch, 30-inch, and 42-inch diameter pipes.
• The project requires the removal and disposal of existing sewer pipes and materials.
• The project requires the construction of new sewer manholes and the rehabilitation of existing manholes.
• The project requires the installation of new water services, including 3/4-inch and 1-1/2 inch diameter copper pipes.
