DPW Pavement Improvements

The City of Southfield is seeking bids for the DPW Pavement Improvements project. The project includes pavement removal, concrete pavement, storm sewer, drainage structure, and water main installation. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and construction equipment necessary for performing the work. The project is expected to start on December 2, 2025, and the contractor will be required to complete the work within a certain timeframe. The city reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities in the proposals. • The project includes approximately 3,647 SYD of pavement removal and 3,022 SYD of concrete pavement. • The contractor will be required to install storm sewer, drainage structure, and water main. • The contractor will be responsible for maintaining traffic during the life of the contract. • The city will make progress payments to the contractor based on the work completed. • The contractor will be required to execute a performance bond, labor and material bond, and maintenance and guarantee bond.
